 Stanford, where Shakespeare's Avon flows gently through the Park, has been the home of the Cave family, ancestors of the present owner Nicholas Fothergill, since 1430. In the 1690s, Sir Roger Cave commissioned the Smiths of Warwick to pull down the old Manor House and build the present Hall, which is a fine example of their work and of the William and Mary period. JOOLS HOLLAND
and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra Saturday 5 July 2008  Enjoy this picnic style concert with Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra culminating in a grand firework finale. Bring your own food and alcohol inc glass bottles, and don't forget your tables and chairs although a hire service will be available on the night. There will be catering and refreshments concessions on the night including a bar serving a wide range of soft and alcoholic beverages. We do not allow barbecues, open fires, garden flares, windbreaks, gazebos or tented structures.
