IML Concerts are delighted to be back at The Quarry in Shrewsbury with a show for anyone that had a favourite song from the 1980’s.
If that’s you then Here And Now: The Magic of the Eighties on Saturday 12th July is for you!
All original artists singing their Top Ten songs in a night of hit after hit after hit.
Headlining will be Rick Astley, who had many top ten hits from 1987 onwards, and after an absence of almost 20 years, Bananarama will be onstage performing live with their band. Add in Midge Ure, who led the most famous one-off hit group of the decade, Band Aid, alongside Toyah, Heaven 17, T’Pau, and Nick Heywood and it’s highly likely that everyone can name at least one favourite tune from this collection.
The programme commences from 7.30pm and, with one small break, will be straight through for 3 hours - surely time for you to hear your favourite - Vienna, Never Gonna Give You Up, Venus, Robert De Niro’s Waiting, China In Your Hand, It’s A Mystery, I Want You Back, Love Plus One, If I Was, Together Forever, Temptation, Come Live With Me, I Want To Be Free, Heart and Soul ... an endless list of the genre of 20+ years ago.
